Before Miaka ever went into the Universe of the Four Gods, Takiko's father wrote it. When her mother dies, Takiko is so angry at her father's neglect that she attempts to tear apart the book, but is instead drawn into the world inside.

There Takiko becomes the Priestess of Genbu, and must find her guardians to be granted three wishes. However, things become difficult when the King is after her head in hopes of preventing the prophesy of his own death.
